Facials and Peels

Facials and Peels for Skin Maintenance

Facials at Derma Health consist of a thorough cleansing, exfoliation and moisturizing treatment. Your aesthetician will assess your skin after cleansing and discuss with you your primary concerns. Derma Health provides options for all skin types with SkinScript products and based on your indicated needs, will select an appropriate facial combination of cleanses, serums, toners and moisturizers. Clients may also opt to add-on an additional treatment such as: peels, microdermabrasion or epiblading/ dermaplaning.

Facial Enhancements:

  • Microdermabrasion
    • Microdermabrasion is an add on treatment that uses microcrystals to remove the top layer of dead, dry skin. This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, complementing any facial or laser treatment. An aesthetician uses a hand piece with a crystal tip and suctioning device that both exfoliates and removes dead skin cells. This process is non-invasive and pain free.
  • Dermaplaning / epiblading
    • Dermaplaning or epiblading is the process of removing the top layer of dead skin cells from the face. This treatment is a great way to exfoliate the skin and remove peach fuzz or vellus hairs. Your aesthetician takes less than 30 minutes to shave off the dead layer of skin, stimulating collagen production and revealing fresh, smooth skin underneath.

What do facials and peels treat?

Facials are the best way to ensure optimal skin health. The process involves a thorough cleansing and exfoliation, which removes dead skin cells, kills surface and subdermal bacteria (acne prevention) and works simultaneously with any facial laser treatment to prolong results.
