Guidance on Tipping Our Team
While tipping is never expected it is always appreciated by our team members. We do recognize it as a common practice in the personal care and aesthetics industry, similar to how you might tip your masseuse or hairdresser. When it comes to services like facials, laser treatments, and peels, Aestheticians in this industry typically do receive a tip. But again, it is always at our patient’s discretion. If you are happy with your experience and you would like to tip any of our Aestheticians for the services they have provided, consider what feels right for you—there is no set percentage, expectation or requirement.
When it comes to our medical personnel (Aesthetic Nurses, Medical Directors, and NP Injectors) please know these Medical professionals typically do not expect tips for the services they provide. However, if you have a relationship with your Medical provider, and feel inclined to leave a gratuity for a job well done, our team will always feel appreciated and grateful for your kind gesture. But, again, this choice is not expected and is entirely up to you.

Many of today’s point of sale systems, including the one we use at Derma Health, are seeking to make the check-out process as smooth as possible by including a built-in tipping suggestion mechanism. This allows you to either select a percentage or enter a custom dollar amount for your tip before the transaction completes. This feature is designed to enhance convenience, and is not an imposed expectation by the business.
