The Back Story
I had no idea until I spoke with my local Derma Health clinic that vaginal rejuvenation could make a profound difference in my life. I am 43 years old, I’m healthy, I’ve had two kids vaginally and I noticed after age 40 that my body is definitely starting to change.
I finally got the courage last year to speak to my gynecologist about what I was experiencing to see if there are any options available. Sadly, the only things that my doc could offer were topical treatments, hormonal intervention, drugs or medications. I prefer to not take drugs or unnatural hormonal interventions. It’s just not me and I was not satisfied with those options. I assumed at that point that this is what happens as we age and I would have to live with it. My symptoms include some of the following and after speaking with my girlfriends all of them had experienced at least one of the following:
- Stress Incontinence or leakage due to child birth
- Discomfort during sexual intercourse
- Vaginal dryness
- UTIs (urinary tract infections) or bladder infections
I have been a Derma Health skin patient for years and when I heard they have an easy, quick, minimally invasive, painless treatment that stimulates my body’s natural regenerative processes…I was intrigued.
After all, I am too young to suffer from leakage…to accept vaginal dryness and sexual discomfort! I want these parts of my life back and I deserve it.
Ladies, now we have options.
Derma Health offers FemTouch, a laser treatment that targets the vaginal lining specifically to produce healthy tissue addressing all of the issues above. I am scheduled for my treatment later this month. Follow my subsequent guest blog postings for more details about how the treatment goes and what happens after! <wink, wink>
